UK Meal Finder – Find Meals by Price, Calories & Diet

Looking for a meal under £10, a lower-calorie lunch or a high-protein option? The UK Meal Finder lets you search menu items by price, calories, diet, protein, meal type and group size, so you don’t have to check restaurant menus one by one.

Set your budget and other preferences, then see matching meals from UK food chains and restaurants in one place.

The UK High Street Diet & Budget Filter

Find exact meals across top UK chains matching your diet, macros, and budget simultaneously.

Find a Meal

The idea is simple: tell the finder what you’re looking for and it’ll narrow down the options.

You might want a cheap meal under £10, a takeaway below 600 calories, a vegan lunch or enough food for several people. You can combine these requirements rather than searching for each one separately.

For example, set £10 + 600 calories + Vegetarian + Lunch and the results will show items that match those choices.

How It Works

Start with the thing that matters most to you, then add other filters if needed.

  • Budget: Set the maximum amount you’re happy to spend. Results stay within that price.
  • Calories: Set your maximum calorie limit. This is useful when you’re looking for lower-calorie meals.
  • Diet: Choose a dietary option such as vegan or vegetarian where available.
  • Protein: Choose the main protein type you’re looking for.
  • Group size: Set how many people you’re buying food for.
  • Meal type: Choose breakfast, lunch, dinner or another available option.
  • Meal deals: Turn this on if you only want current meal-deal options.

You don’t have to use every filter. Leave anything open if it doesn’t matter for your search.

Check the Results

Once you’ve searched, the cheapest matching items appear first.

Each result shows the restaurant or chain, menu item and price. Where nutritional information is available, you’ll also see the calorie figure.

Dietary tags help you spot relevant choices quickly. Results can also show the main protein type, group size and whether an item is part of a current meal deal.

Nothing suitable? Increase your budget or calorie limit slightly, or remove one filter and search again.

Prices & Calories

Menu prices can change over time and may differ between locations. Promotions can also expire, while delivery prices and other charges may be different from the menu price.

Menu prices in the finder are collected from available restaurant and menu information and updated periodically. Always check the restaurant’s current menu before ordering, particularly if the exact price matters to your budget.

Calorie information comes from the restaurant or chain’s published nutritional information where available. The figures can change when recipes, portions or menus are updated, so the restaurant’s latest nutritional information remains the final reference.

Find Meals by Budget

Sometimes you already know how much you want to spend.

Set the maximum price to find meals under £5, £10, £15 or £20, or enter your own budget when you have a different limit.

Looking for lunch under £8? Set the budget to £8, choose Lunch and leave the other filters open.

Got £15 to spend? Set £15 as your maximum and then narrow the results by diet, calories or meal type if needed.

This also makes it easier to compare cheap meals, budget takeaway options and meal deals without opening several menus.

Find Meals by Diet

Looking for vegan or vegetarian food? Use the diet filter to narrow the results to the options supported by the finder.

You can combine a diet choice with your budget, calorie limit and meal type. That means you can search for something like a vegan lunch under £10 instead of browsing an entire menu.

Other dietary categories may be available depending on the information published for each menu item.

Find High-Protein Meals

If you’re trying to hit your protein target, the protein filter can help narrow your choices by the main protein type.

Choose from the available options, such as chicken, beef or seafood, and combine that choice with your budget or calorie limit.

For example, you could search for a high-protein lunch under £15 without having to look through every item on the menu.

The filter identifies the protein type. It doesn’t judge whether a meal is healthy or suitable for a particular diet.

Find UK Meal Deals

Looking specifically for a meal deal? Turn on the Meal Deal filter before searching.

The results will focus on items identified as current meal deals rather than showing individual menu items that aren’t part of one.

Meal deals can change, so availability, prices and included items may vary. Check the restaurant’s current offer before ordering.

Feeding a Group

Buying food for more than one person can make a simple menu search surprisingly difficult.

Set the group size to match how many people you’re feeding. This helps narrow the results to options intended for the selected number of people.

Feeding four people? Set the group size before searching, then add your budget or meal type if you have a particular requirement.

Before You Order

The price shown is the menu price used by the finder. It doesn’t necessarily include delivery fees, service charges or other costs added later.

Prices can also vary by location, and some promotions may only be available for a limited time.

If you’re eating at a sit-down restaurant, check whether a service charge is added to the bill before paying. If you’re splitting the final bill with friends, you can also use our restaurant bill calculator to divide the cost and add a tip or service charge.

The restaurant’s current menu and bill are always the final reference.

FAQs

How accurate are the meal prices?

Prices are collected from available menu information and updated periodically, but they can change by restaurant and location. Check the current restaurant menu before ordering.

Where do the calorie figures come from?

Calorie information comes from the restaurant or chain’s published nutritional information where available. This tool doesn’t create its own calorie estimates.

Do prices vary by UK location?

Yes. Some restaurants and chains use different prices depending on location, so the price shown may not be identical everywhere.

How often is the meal data updated?

The menu information is updated periodically. Restaurants can change prices, recipes, meal deals and nutritional information between updates.

Can I find meals under £10?

Yes. Set your maximum price to £10 and search. You can then add other filters such as calories, diet or meal type.

Can I search for high-protein meals?

Yes. Use the protein filter to choose the type of protein you’re looking for, then combine it with your budget, calories or meal type.

Can I find vegan or vegetarian meals?

Yes, where those dietary options are available in the menu data. Select the relevant diet before searching.

Does the tool include meal deals?

Yes. Turn on the Meal Deal filter to search for items identified as current meal deals.

Why does a calorie figure say “Calories varied”?

This means there isn’t one fixed calorie figure for that menu item in the available nutritional information. The calories may depend on factors such as size, ingredients or the combination selected.

What happens if there are no matching meals?

Try increasing your budget or calorie limit, or remove one filter. You may have set requirements that no available menu item currently matches.

Does the price include delivery or service charges?

No. The finder shows menu prices. Delivery fees, service charges and other additional costs may apply separately.

Does the tool cover every UK restaurant?

No. It focuses on available menu information from major UK food chains and restaurants. Smaller or independent restaurants may not be included.

Prices, Nutrition & Updates

The information in the finder comes from available restaurant and menu information. Calorie figures use published nutritional information where available.

Menus, prices, recipes and meal deals can change, and location-specific prices may differ. The data is updated periodically, but you should always check the restaurant’s current menu before ordering.

The finder is designed to help you narrow down your choices. It isn’t a guarantee of current price, availability or nutritional information.
