Costa Coffee Menu Prices in UK

Costa Coffee Menu Prices in UK [2026 Updated]

I usually know what I want from Costa before I reach the counter, but the menu has a habit of tempting me into something else. The smell of freshly extracted Mocha Italia espresso hits first, followed by the sight of steaming flat whites, iced lattes and warm breakfast baps lined up behind the glass.

This Costa Coffee Menu with Prices in UK guide covers the latest 2026 menu, from everyday coffee favourites and seasonal drinks to toasties, breakfast bites and sweet treats. I’ve also included the popular orders worth considering when you need a proper caffeine hit before work or something filling during a lunch break.

The Maple Hazel Iced Latte is one to look for if you fancy a sweeter coffee, while the Strawberry Coconut Matcha Iced Latte offers a fruity alternative to the usual espresso-based drinks. If you prefer something colder and more indulgent, the Salted Caramel Frappé is another tempting choice.

Food deserves a look, too. I’d happily pair a morning coffee with the classic Smoked Bacon Bap, while the Philly Cheesesteak Toastie is worth considering when lunch needs to be more substantial than a pastry. The Dubai Style Pistachio Tiffin also catches the eye if you’ve got room for a chocolatey afternoon treat.

Of course, a Costa run isn’t always a leisurely café stop. I know the morning queue can stretch towards the door, and there’s nothing more frustrating than spotting the last almond croissant just as someone else reaches the counter. On a rainy Tuesday, though, wrapping both hands around a hot coffee before heading back onto the high street still feels like a small win.

I’ve organised this guide to help you compare menu options, check UK prices, explore dietary options and decide what’s worth ordering before you step inside. Whether you’re grabbing a flat white to go or settling down with a laptop for an hour, you’ll find the menu information you need to make your choice.

Must-Try Items & Honest Reviews

Spanish (Caramelo) Latte

Five quid fifty-five. For a coffee. The first few mouthfuls are lovely, admittedly — creamy milk, rich espresso, that smooth caramel sweetness hanging around just long enough to make you take another sip before you’ve even thought about it. Then the syrup sinks to the bottom, and unless you swirl the cup like an absolute maniac, the last mouthful tastes like someone’s poured liquid sugar straight down the hatch. Infuriating, really.

Matcha Latte (Hot or Iced)

That vibrant green colour gets your attention before you’ve even taken the lid off, and the earthy matcha flavour has a completely different character from the usual espresso-heavy drinks. At £5.35, though, I want a smooth drink from the first sip to the last.

Guess what happens at the bottom? Gritty, unmixed powder clumps. Lovely to look at. Less lovely when you’re fishing matcha sludge out of your mouth.

Wiltshire Ham & Mature Cheddar Croissant

£4.95 gets you flaky pastry, thick-cut ham and warm, savoury cheddar — a decent budget bite when you’re rushing out the door without breakfast, and considerably more interesting than another plain pastry.

Eating it on the train is where things get stupid. The melted cheese glues itself to the inside of the paper bag, pastry flakes scatter across your coat, and your fingers turn greasy while you’re desperately trying to unwrap the thing with one hand because the other’s holding your coffee. Bring napkins. Several.

Sweet Ube Hot Chocolate

It’s purple. Properly vivid purple, the sort of colour that makes you stop scrolling through your phone and actually look at the cup. Then you taste it, and the sweetness hits hard — thick, creamy, intensely rich, almost like drinking melted dessert rather than ordering an ordinary hot chocolate.

At around £5.70, it’s hardly an everyday purchase, and halfway through the cup that richness starts to feel like hard work. A lot of drink.

Classic Flat White

The £4.75 flat white is my pick for a straightforward caffeine hit: concentrated espresso, velvety micro-foam, and none of that syrupy sweetness that can drown out the coffee itself. Fresh from the counter, that texture is the whole point.

Then comes the plastic lid.

Ten minutes down the high street, and the lovely micro-foam has flattened into practically nothing by the time I reach the office. The coffee’s still there, obviously, but that silky finish I paid for? Gone. Just me, a lukewarm cup, and the sound of the morning queue still ringing in my ears.

Costa Coffee Nutrition & Dietary Info

  • Small espresso: 3 calories. Medium black Americano: roughly 18.
  • The Nacho Chilli Cheese & Chicken Toastie packs 32g of protein, with the Roast Chicken & Bacon Toastie and Tuna Melt Panini also high in protein — a medium High Protein Iced Latte has 23g, too.
  • Cheese pastries and vegetarian options. Plenty of them.
  • Vegans can use plant-based milks, but some syrups and chocolate powders contain hidden dairy. You can’t assume every topping is vegan just because the milk is.
  • Pre-packed gluten-free treats are sold at Costa, but its oat milk contains gluten, so coeliacs can’t drink it; shared steam wands and preparation spaces also mean handcrafted drinks and loose food can face cross-contamination, despite all 14 major allergens being handled on-site.
  • Costa UK has no blanket Halal certification. Don’t assume chicken wraps or meat sandwiches are Halal.

Ways to Save Money at Costa

  • Costa Club gives you 1 Bean per handcrafted drink. Ten Beans gets you a free drink, and using a reusable cup earns two Beans per drink — your sixth coffee is free. There’s also a birthday treat.
  • Student discounts are usually available through Student Beans. A working code was available in September 2026.
  • The Kids Meal Deal costs £3.99 and requires an adult purchase alongside it.
  • Morning bap, coffee and juice bundles cost less than buying each item separately. Afternoon coffee-and-cake deals work the same way.

Costa Coffee FAQs

What milk can I get if I’m dairy-free?

Soya, oat, coconut and almond milk are available. One annoying detail if you’re coeliac: Costa’s oat milk contains gluten, so that’s off the list.

Can I get a decaf without giving up my usual coffee?

Decaf’s available for almost all espresso-based drinks, so you don’t have to abandon your usual order just because caffeine’s off the cards.

Can I actually sit and work from a Costa?

Free Wi-Fi is standard in most shops. Finding a free table near a working plug socket on a Tuesday morning is another story entirely. I’ve seen the hunt for one turn into a slow lap of the café with a laptop and dwindling patience.

Can I order ahead instead of standing in that massive queue?

Use Click & Collect through the Costa app. Your order goes in ahead of time, which is handy when the morning queue’s stretching out the door and you’re already late.

Does Costa bring back those seasonal drinks and cakes?

They do big seasonal launches, including things like Terry’s Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate and Black Forest Yule Log in winter. They can sell out fast later in the day, so that festive treat isn’t always waiting when you finally get there.

Can I get something other than coffee?

Tea and hot chocolate, too.

The Bottom Line on Costa Prices

You came for the real 2026 Costa Coffee prices, and that’s what I’ve put together here — the most accurate pricing data available right now. I update these prices from time to time, but don’t expect every branch to charge exactly the same, because train stations, central London and airports tend to sting your wallet a bit harder than a local high-street shop.

I’d still grab a Flat White, or brave that flaky cheese croissant and spend the next ten minutes picking melted cheddar off the paper bag. Worth it? Depends how hungry I am.

Before you order, open your Costa app and double-check the price at your local branch. What’s your usual Costa order? Drop it in the comments — I’m always curious what people actually buy.
